Sociology 24 - Introduction to Social Inequality

Semester:

Spring

Offered:

2014

In this course, we will identify the basic contours of the structure of social inequality in the United States through engagement with original, classic sociological research on class, race, and gender.  Through our reading and active participation in lectures, we will develop answers to the central question that motivates much sociological inquiry into inequality: Who gets what, and why?
